![[ ]](http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/dpmfb/dpmfb234.png) | The Lab The Ishball Island Pokemon Lab lies on the outskirts of Ishball City. It is a two story building, painted an off-white color with deep green shutters and trim. On the front of the Lab, there's a porch made of wood that has been stained a tawny color. The rails are high, to keep people from falling off the two foot drop. It's an enclosed porch, which provides shade in the summer heat. There isn't much of a front yard, but the back in surrounded by a white fence, which extends for miles. As a matter of fact, the Lab used to be a ranch house back in the day. It looks, and feels, a lot like home.
Here is where all trainers entering the region begin their journey. They will be given a PokeDex, a Map, and if they need one, their very first Pokemon by either Professor Lana, Professor Tiaki, the Aide Kotoru, or a combination of the three. Most people choose to walk, but there is a bike shop located within the city. First time visiters should head to the unique restaurants that specialize in Ishballan cuisine. There's even a street full of vendors and street preformers. If you head towards the port, the buildings get older, and the paved streets become a mess of cobblestones. That is the Red district, named for the brick houses and shops. It's the only place in the entire city where family buisnesses are still run the way they were hundreds of years ago, with a few modern twists of course. The city is always buzzing with people. It's a mixture of dense trees, like palmetto, oak, and palm trees. Mostly palm and palmetto trees. There are large clearing and patches of sunlight. The pokemon here are very curious. Many are strong as well. But be warned, this forest is protected by a mysterious guardian. Those who enter the Palm Forest after sunset never return. The five tallest peaks are in the center of the range, while on either side, smaller, easier to navigate mountains stretch to the ocean. This is the place where hidden caves and valleys house uniquie pokemon. Fighting, rock, and ground types are quite common here. It is suggested that travelers take the paths around the tallest peaks, but rumor has it that something worth while is hidden there... Things tend to be pretty quiet here, and nothing out of the ordinary happens. There's a corner market, but that's not exactly big news, is it?
Though it's a small city, Rayne Harbor is home to both a Gym and Contest Hall. Moderator: -WiCkEd- | 0 | 0

It makes travel quite easy, and the pokemon that travel along this route are often very friendly. Moderator: -WiCkEd- | 0 | 0

![[ ]](http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/dpmfb/dpmfb234.png) | The Deserted Village (4 sub-boards) The shores along Talia Island are a place of mystery. Old stone huts litter the beaches and surrounding area. Just the walls remain, and many of them have crumbled.
This is the Deserted Village. For as long as people can remember, these ruins have been here. Laying next to the ruins are woven baskets that have long since fallen apart, old stone tools, and even bones. Who knows what lies beneeth the rocky sand and soil. It is unknown as to why the village was abandoned. Moderator: PF13 | 0 | 0
![[ ]](http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/dpmfb/dpmfb234.png) | The Tunnel of Fire Past the Deserted Village the terrain changes. The Deserted Village rested on a drop off, while the rest of the island is at a higher elevation, only by a few feet at most. This small cliff is built up with rocks, and they are highly unstable, making a climb impossible. The inhabitants of the Deserted Village built a tunnel leading up to the other half of the island, or so it's believed.
This tunnel has been called the Tunnel of Fire, for inside the tunnel steam billows out of cracks and the temperature rises. This is the best place to capture Fire types in all off Ishball, and this long winding tunnel can be treatcherous. Moderator: PF13 | 0 | 0

Though this volcano has not errupted in over a hundred years, thick smoke still billows from the summit of this mountain. You may climb the mountain, if you wish, but geologists believe the volcano may errupt. The native Talia Islanders believe that the volcano will not errupt so long as the island's protector is watching over the island. The sand and water is warmed by the volcanic activity, and it's a very pleasent place to get some relaxation. There's even a healing spring, though which one it is remains a mystery to humans. If you're lucky, you might see some wild pokemon taking a quick bath in the springs. Moderator: PF13 | 1 | 62 | on Jun 19, 2008, 9:38pm by PF13 in R & R.....? |
![[ ]](http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/dpmfb/dpmfb234.png) | Talay Village (5 sub-boards) One hundred years ago, Talay Village was wiped off the map when Dai-ina Mountain erupted. The resilient villagers rebuilt, and now Talay Village is a sprawling town. There are no roads here, just volcanic rock. And it's common to see people with obsidian jewelry or weapons. In fact, Talay Village is known for creating some of the best weapons in the region. Now used for collection purposes only, these weapons have a high sale value, and many are one of a kind. The threat of the volcano has faded into nothing but a memory, and the people have grown too comfortable living near the mountain. Drills are practiced twice a year, once in the rainy season and once in the dry season. Be sure to stop by the Shop of a Thousand Swords. Moderator: PF13 | 0 | 0

The palace itself is made of stone that has a marbled look to it. With grand gates, which are always closed. These gates are always guarded by men in silver armor who hold silver spears. This is where the self proclaimed Queen of Psychics lives. She's always locked in her palace, and rarely steps outside. When she does venture outside, she's often seen by one of the many fountains.
All though the palace itself is closed to visitors, the Imperial Garden is open to the public. Moderators: <-The Legendary Thief->, Eri-chan | 0 | 0

The grand temple is surrounded by tall stone walls, with the only way in being the wooden gates, which always remain open during the day. The Priestess's homes are built right next to the wall, and the largest building inside is built on a small lake, surrounded by beautiful white lillies. This is where the Head Priestess spends her time, inside this building. It has a glass roof, allowing her to constantly view the branches of the Tree of Ages. Behind the building, on the shore of the small lake, the Tree of Ages towers...
